Jules Kounde then netted a 116th-minute winner, and Real had three players sent off after full-time. Antonio Rudiger attempted to throw ice at the referee and was sent off, while Jude Bellingham and Lucas Vazquez were also dismissed.

THE BIGGER PICTURE
Barca have played Real three times this season already and will meet again on May 11, in what could prove to be a pivotal game in the title race, with Barca four points clear at the top of La Liga. Barca won the return fixture 4-0 at the Bernabeu, with Yamal on the scoresheet, and they also won 5-2 in the final of the Supercopa de Espana, with Yamal scoring in that game too. He has now taunted Los Blancos.
