Sports television presenter Laura Woods will go from covering Euro 2024 to the Olympics in Paris amid a 'busy' summer schedule.

WHAT HAPPENED?
The 37-year-old has been a huge part of ITV's coverage of the European Championship in Germany this summer and has already landed a job that will follow soon after as she has confirmed will be on Discovery+'s Olympics team.

THE BIGGER PICTURE
She will be fronting the coverage of the Games alongside tennis legend Boris Becker and Carolina Kluft, who won the 2004 Olympics heptathlon. The Olympics will run from July 26, when the opening ceremony takes place, to August 11.

Woods managed to be part of ITV's presenting team for Euro 2024 after she recovered from a 'freak' injury. She had to undergo emergency surgery after a glass lamp shattered and cut her face and arms while she was on holiday.

After Euro 2024, the presenter will head to the French capital to begin covering the Olympics. Woods said in an Instagram post that she is "Very excited to be a part of this team, it’s going to be a busy summer!"
